An Element Of Faith! – Positive Reflection Of The Week

An Element Of Faith: Always Start Your Prayer With A ‘Thank You’!

“Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.”- Saint Augustine

Sometimes we wonder why our prayers are never been heard? Why the situation in our life is not changing? Well, one energy that many of us omit seeing is the fact, that we do not have enough Faith in the prayer we are sending out, and we do not trust in the divine for its right action.

It’s a debate of faith and trust. So, if we come from a family who prayed daily and believed in the universe’s powers, we follow the same protocols, however, we sometimes do it mechanically, and that’s one reason the energy sent out as a prayer lacks that ball of faith in it.

Why does having faith strengthen our prayer and bring us closer to what we strive to achieve?

Any prayer, whether it is written, spoken, or just asked in the heart, creates a Thought Form. Thought Forms are real! They can affect us, people, and what we experience in our lives.

Are our thoughts clear? Is what we are asking for exactly what we want, or are we in an emotional state of anger or irritation when we pray? Cloudy thoughts are unclear. For example, if you are praying for the right partner, what’s your prayer like? Do you have a clear vision of what one may be asking? If you pray and say dear Lord, bless me with the right partner? That’s a general thought, no clarity, correct? If you say “thank you, Lord, for blessing me with a partner, whom I will have a greater communication/ relationship with, a person who will love and respect me and a person who will be my spiritual buddy on my path. Thank you for the blessings.” After that you strengthen that vision of praying daily and having a very clear picture of what you want, then the universe responds, however, again Faith is needed. No matter how strong the initial thought form, doubt weakens it! It generates another thought that is deflating the initial thought.

The more faithful and confident we are when we create a thought form, the greater the chances of materialization. So, when we start our prayer with a ‘Thank You’, the prayer is more likely to be answered, because of the element of faith. Because of the confidence that we have already received an answer, and we are thankful for it!

So, always start your prayer with a ‘Thank You‘.

“To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim, you don’t grab hold of the water, because if you do, you will sink and drown. Instead, you relax, and float.” – Alan Watts

“Believe in yourself, and the rest will fall into place. Have faith in your own abilities, work hard, and there is nothing you cannot accomplish.” – Brad Henry

“Faith is unseen but felt, faith is strength when we feel we have none, faith is hope when all seems lost.” – Catherine Pulsifer
