Chilli Paneer is a popular Indian appetizer & is an absolute delight for all cheese lovers! Chef Khan’s version of Chilli Paneer by far beats the restaurant style & is easy as well as quick to make! This recipe is infused with Chinese flavours that make it all the more tastier! You can have this dish as a starter on its own or as an accompaniment for a main meal!
CHILLI PANEER?️
CHILLI PANEER (SERVING FOR 5)
INGREDIENTS
½ kg paneer cut into medium sized cubes
3 tablespoons corn flour
3 tablespoons gram flour
½ cup water
1 ½ tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 ½ tablespoon garlic paste
4 green chillies chopped
2 white onions cut into medium sized cubes
3 capsicums cut into medium sized cubes
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
½ cup red chilli sauce
¼ cup tomato ketchup
1 bunch chopped coriander
Oil for cooking
METHOD
STEP 1
Mix the paneer with corn flour, salt, pepper, chilli powder, gram flour and water. Mix well until the paneer is evenly coated.
STEP 2
Deep fry the paneer until golden brown and set aside.
STEP 3
In a non-stick pan add a little bit of oil & sauté onions, green chilies, garlic, ginger and capsicums and then add in your paneer.
STEP 4
Add in your oyster sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, red chilli sauce, ketchup. Adjust your seasoning and sprinkle your chopped coriander.
Serve hot!
