SPICY CHICKEN PIE
SPICY CHICKEN PIE (SERVINGS FOR 3-4)
INGREDIENTS
1/2 kg chicken cut into small cubes
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon green chillies chopped
1 medium sized onion chopped
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon butter
Ready made puff pastry 300 grams
1 egg mixed with 1/4 cup water (egg wash)
METHOD
STEP 1
Melt butter in a pan and sauté the garlic then add in the green chillies and onions & cook them slightly then add the chicken and cook for around 5 minutes. Add in the soy sauce and season with salt and pepper and set aside.
STEP 2
Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares then layer each square with the chicken mix and fold it in. Add some small holes with a fork on the top then brush egg wash on top of each pie.
STEP 3
Preheat your oven at 180 degrees Celsius then bake your pies for 20 minutes.
