Honey Chilli Chicken- A Perfect New Year’s Recipe By Chef Khan

HONEY CHILLI CHICKEN

HONEY CHILLI CHICKEN (3 Servings)

INGREDIENTS FOR MARINATION

½ kg chicken cut to small curry pieces
1 egg
1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
2 tablespoons corn flour
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil

 

METHOD

STEP 1
Combine together the egg, black pepper, corn flour, salt and mix the chicken pieces in this for about
1 hour.

STEP 2
Heat oil and deep fry your chicken for at least 10-15 minutes until cooked.

INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE

1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons chilli sauce
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
A pinch of sugar
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste

 

METHOD

STEP 1
Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few seconds then add the chicken pieces into
this along with black pepper powder and cook for a few minutes.

STEP 2
Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil and little salt to taste and cook this until
slightly thick.

STEP 3
Add sesame seeds and sugar and toss all then serve hot.
