This does sound absurd but it’s a sad reality!
Becoming parents is the biggest joy in one’s life. Every couple wants to procreate a beautiful life and enjoy this bliss.
As there are no free meals…so also this bundle of joy comes with A PRICE!!
Rearing a child involves a physical, emotional, social and financial aspect. The ‘parents to be’ must be ready to shoulder this humongous responsibility. Having said that …once the baby is in the arms the feeling is beyond measure and absolutely priceless. And then starts the daily grind which now involves greater responsibilities and is more hectic and physically draining as the parents resume their work/job/duty.
The next step….to enrol the baby at the Day Care Centre. Dear parents you have to identify a reputed childcare centre and make a few random visits to observe it’s working….in terms of cleanliness, comfort etc. and also see the children’s activities…if they are sleepy most of the time…it’s a warning bell…meaning that they are doped (by mixing nutmeg/poppy seed etc.). So that place is a big NO-NO.
The other alternative is hiring a maid/nanny. Here again, you have to cross-check and either/or should drop in at home unannounced regularly. Nowadays one can have CCTVs to monitor.
The above two arrangements may have scared you a bit…so now the best solution is if you have parents staying closeby or someone in the family to baby sit….believe me it’s THE BEST…as nobody can take better care of your child than the ones who raised you!
