This week Chef Raphael’s Teriyaki Chicken recipe is going to leave you wanting more. It’s quick and easy to make and requires no marination prior to cooking! You no longer need a Japanese takeout as you can prepare this dish all in the comfort of your home! Don’t believe it? Try it for yourself!
½ kg boneless chicken
100ml soy sauce (light soy or mushroom dark soy)
2-3 tbsp honey
Mixed colored peppers (1 of each colour)
Cook the chicken, on high heat to start browning.
As the chicken starts to brown, add the onion, & also brown it with the chicken.
Make sure the chicken is browned evenly then add soy sauce, then the honey, and allow to simmer for about 1 minute.
Taste and adjust the flavour to get a sweet and salty taste. Add little water if you want more gravy.
For the vegetables, cook them on a different pan and serve as part of the meal.
Turn off the heat and serve with rice.
