TERIYAKI CHICKEN

TERIYAKI CHICKEN RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Cooked Rice
½ kg boneless chicken
Onion
Garlic
100ml soy sauce (light soy or mushroom dark soy)
2-3 tbsp honey
Mixed colored peppers (1 of each colour)
1 zucchini
METHOD
STEP 1
Cook the chicken, on high heat to start browning.
STEP 2
As the chicken starts to brown, add the onion, & also brown it with the chicken.
STEP 3
Make sure the chicken is browned evenly then add soy sauce, then the honey, and allow to simmer for about 1 minute.
STEP 4
Taste and adjust the flavour to get a sweet and salty taste. Add little water if you want more gravy.
STEP 5
For the vegetables, cook them on a different pan and serve as part of the meal.
STEP 6
Turn off the heat and serve with rice.
