This particular burger has cheese incorporated with the meat patty, unlike your classic cheese burger where a slice of cheese is on top of the meat patty. STUFFED CHEESE BURGER RECIPE
4 burger buns
Cheddar cheese (grated)
750g minced meat
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Small bunch of rosemary
Start by mixing the onion, garlic, and chopped rosemary into the minced meat. Then season this with salt and pepper according to taste.
Make a small burger and cook to confirm the seasoning is ok before making all the burgers.
Form the burgers, first into balls and place a little cheese at the centre then form into burger patties of the same size and cook on a hot pan with little oil. They are ready when the liquid coming out is clear and it takes about 5-6 minutes to cook depending on the thickness.
For the bread, cut into 2 and spread a little mayonnaise on both sides.
Place lettuce, tomatoes and onions on the bottom bread and the burger meat on top. If you have bacon, place on top of the meat and cover with the top bread.
