SPICY MUTTON FRY RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1 kg mutton – boneless
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
5 tbsp coconut oil (optional)
7 cloves of garlic
8 green chillies – slit
A handful of curry leaves
4 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
4 tbsp lemon Juice
METHOD
STEP 1
Add mutton, salt, turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste into a pressure cooker. Then add a little water and cook for 7-8 whistles.
STEP 2
Add spices and lemon juice and mix well, once the meat has cooked.
STEP 3
In a pan, heat some oil and add the curry leaves, chillies and garlic & sauté for a bit.
STEP 4
Now add the mutton and fry till golden brown.
Serve with naan or bread!
