NUTTY COCONUT TRUFFLES
NUTTY COCONUT TRUFFLE RECIPE (makes 5 balls)
INGREDIENTS
Desiccated coconut – ½ a cup
Condensed milk – ¼ of the 500 ml tin
Almonds – 5
Pistachio – handful chopped
Bar of milk chocolate melted
METHOD
STEP 1
Pour condensed milk into a bowl and mix desiccated coconut. Stir till combined & till mixture forms a sticky dough consistency.
STEP 2
Roast almonds on a heated pan for 2 minutes and leave aside to cool. Take 2 ½ tablespoons of the coconut mixture and add one roasted almond inside the mixture and roll with your hand into a ball shape.
STEP 3
Coat the coconut ball into desiccated coconut once again and sprinkle pistachio on the top. Decorate with melted chocolate by either dipping half of the truffle into chocolate or using a spoon to create
patterns.
STEP 4
Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
