Obsession (2026) is a psychological horror film that follows a quiet music store employee named Bear (Michael Johnston) who harbors a hopeless crush on his childhood friend and coworker, Nikki (Inde Navarrette). Unable to confess his true feelings, Bear breaks a supernatural 1980s novelty toy called the “One Wish Willow” and wishes for Nikki to love him more than anyone else in the world. The wish is immediately granted, but Nikki’s affection rapidly morphs into a terrifying, codependent fixation that strips away her autonomy and unleashes a dark, violent entity that threatens to consume them both. Directed and written by Curry Barker in his feature debut, the film provides a sinister, modern twist on “The Monkey’s Paw” trope.

Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam) is a grand, 2026 Indian devotional drama film directed by Hardik Gajjar. Framed around a modern narration by Jackie Shroff, the live-action story begins during Lord Krishna’s final moments on Earth. The plot serves as an emotional journey tracking the deity from his painful separation from Radha to his subsequent reign, covering his marriages to Rukmini, Satyabhama, and Jambavati. Rather than focusing on massive wars, this first chapter explores the deep emotional and philosophical dualities of Krishna’s life, handling sensitive themes like ancient patriarchal norms through his rescue of 16,000 captive princesses. Anchored by painterly cinematography from Ayananka Bose and a rich musical score, the cinematic experience balances spiritual devotion with a humanizing look at divine duty and love.

Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) is an immersive 2026 concert film. It is co-directed by pop superstar Billie Eilish and visionary filmmaker James Cameron. Released globally in theaters by Paramount Pictures, the movie captures Eilish’s high-energy arena performances. The footage was recorded over four nights in Manchester, England, during her massive 2025 world tour.
