JANSSON’S TEMPTATION RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1/2kg of potatoes (thinly sliced)
60g canned anchovies in brine
Salt to taste
Single cream to cover the potatoes
1/4 cup bread crumbs
METHOD
STEP 1
Place the thinly sliced potatoes in a buttered tray.
STEP 2
Next, place the anchovy fillets on top & sprinkle some salt.
STEP 3
Add another layer of potatoes and then cover with single cream & finally sprinkle the bread crumbs on top.
STEP 4
Bake in a preheated oven, at 185degrees for approximately 35-40 mins until the potatoes are tender.
Serve with meatballs, Christmas ham & sausages.
