Chef Khan’s deliciously crispy Hash Brown Potatoes recipe is a perfect recipe to try out this summer. The potatoes are crispy from the outside yet soft and full of flavours on the inside! You can have this for breakfast or even as a midnight snack!
HASH BROWN POTATOES
HASH BROWN POTATOES RECIPE (Servings for 3)
6 medium sized potatoes
1 medium sized onion chopped
Handful of coriander chopped
2 green chilies chopped
1 egg whisked
1 ¼ tablespoon salt
½ tablespoon black pepper
Flour to dust
Cooking oil to shallow fry
Cook potatoes from cold to hot water, with skin on & cook until potatoes are almost soft. Remove from water, peel off the skin and grate potatoes.
In a mixing bowl add chopped onions, coriander and chilies. Then add in your grated potatoes along with your whisked eggs and season with salt & pepper. Adjust seasoning if need be.
Mould the mixture into round patties. Dust the patties with flour and shallow fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
