FRIED BEEF AND POTATO SKEWERS WITH AIOLI SAUCE

FRIED BEEF AND POTATO SKEWERS WITH AIOLI SAUCE (Serving For 3)

INGREDIENTS

½ kg beef fillet cut into big cubes
¼ kg potato cut into cubes
2 capsicum cut into cubes
2 tablespoons garlic paste
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon green chili paste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon salt
½ tablespoon black pepper powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Egg wash (whisk 1 egg with ¼ glass of water)
Oil to fry

METHOD

STEP 1
In a bowl place your beef and add in all the ingredients apart from the potatoes and marinate for at least 2 hours.

STEP 2
In a pot add in water and some salt then add your potatoes and cook this until they are half way cooked then set aside.

STEP 3
For the skewers, take a skewer & place a piece of meat then one piece of potato and a piece of capsicum, once this is done pass it through the egg wash and place the skewer in the deep fryer. Keep turning the skewer to cook meat all round.

Serve hot!

AIOLI SAUCE INGREDIENTS

1 ½ cups mayonnaise
1 ½ tablespoon garlic paste
1 ½ tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper

METHOD

STEP 1
In a bowl mix all ingredients well and chill for at least 30 minutes then serve with skewers.
