On Saturday the 8th of September Mr & Miss World Kenya 2018 took place at The Mall in Westlands. There were more than 26 contestants that took part in this event, however Cula Budi Robert & Finali Galaiya took the crown and are now Mr & Miss World Kenya 2018 respectively.

How does it feel to have won Mr. World Kenya 2018? What does this achievement mean to you? What are your future plans and how do you intend to make Kenya proud?

My name is Cula Budi Robert. The event was awesome. A lot of nervousness because the competition was stiff from the fellow gentlemen, but the crowd was welcoming, screaming so loud every time I stepped on the runway which gave me even more confidence and put me in a comfortable place. I am also proud of Finali for winning Miss World Kenya 2018. She was my dance partner and my message to Kenyans is that being Kenyan is in your heart it’s not in your skin. She will make us proud.
Winning Mr. World Kenya 2018 is a big step in my life and I am overwhelmed, still getting used to the title, but now that it’s sinking in I am ready to take on the world.My plans is to first of all bring the big one home. Mr. World itself and use the crown eventually to bring hope and new life to the old abandoned and neglected people in our society. I want to introduce to them new health and fitness programs in accordance with their age through my fitness knowledge so they can have a life again.

You were crowned Miss India Worldwide Kenya 2016 & now Miss World Kenya 2018. How does it feel? What does winning Miss World Kenya mean to you? After winning the crown for Miss World Kenya 2018, how do you intend to make Kenya proud?

I represented Kenya in both pageants and representing your country is always a matter of joy and a great honour. Miss World Kenya provides me an opportunity to work with beauty with a purpose and take my projects to a greater height. At the same time, the curious traveller in me gets to meet girls from over 126 countries and visit China.
While everything seems perfect, I am mindful that I have to work hard to make sure I represent my country to the best of my ability. I am a representation of Kenya and my beautiful Kenyan people – to me this means that I must bring home the Miss World crown. I will work very hard for it and I hope that you will support me in this journey, this journey shall be ours.
