CHILLI CHICKEN
CHILLI CHICKEN (SERVINGS FOR 5)
INGREDIENTS FOR MARINADE
1kg chicken cut into 16 pieces
1 tablespoon Chili powder
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
3 tablespoon corn flour
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 egg
Salt to taste
METHOD
STEP 1
Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients above and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, then deep fry in oil.
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
3 onions diced
1 capsicum diced
3 green chilies chopped
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons black pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons chili sauce
2 tablespoon tomato sauce
½ bunch spring onion chopped
METHOD
STEP 1
Heat 3-4 tablespoons of oil in a pan, then add garlic and ginger & sauté for a few seconds.
STEP 2
Add onions, capsicum and green chillies and sauté until soft.
STEP 3
To this add the chilli powder, pepper, and salt and sauté until the raw smell goes away.
STEP 4
Now add the 3 sauces to it and mix well, then add the fried chicken and mix well.
STEP 5
Garnish with spring onion & serve hot.
