CHICKEN SKEWERS WITH PEANUT SAUCE ?

CHICKEN SKEWERS WITH PEANUT SAUCE RECIPE (3 Servings)

INGREDIENTS FOR SKEWERS

½ kg boneless chicken cut into cubes
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons red chili flakes
2 tablespoons of white vinegar
1 ½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
40ml olive oil

METHOD FOR SKEWERS

STEP 1
Marinate chicken with the above ingredients for 30 minutes and put them on the skewers.

STEP 2
Preheat oven at 180 degrees and oven cook the chicken skewers for 20-25 minutes.

 

INGREDIENTS FOR THE SAUCE

150 grams peanut butter
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 medium sized lime squeezed
1 tablespoon chili flakes
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoon white vinegar
1 cup water
2 tablespoon olive oil
Chopped Coriander for garnish

METHOD FOR SAUCE

STEP 1
Heat the pan with olive oil and sauté your garlic and ginger paste and add in your peanut butter and all
of the above ingredients for the sauce. Make sure the consistency isn’t too runny and adjust seasoning if need be.

STEP 2
Serve hot on top of the chicken skewers and garnish with coriander.
