Chef Khan’s creamy Carrot Soup is a rich and flavoursome soup that can be relished especially during the winter months! It’s healthy, tasty, simple & easy to make!
CARROT SOUP RECIPE (4 Servings)
½ kg carrots
1 small onion chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 vegetable cube
3 cups water boiled
1 tablespoon salt
½ tablespoon pepper
¼ cup fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons Tabasco sauce
½ cup cooking cream
Handful chopped coriander
Melt the butter and sauté the onions and carrots. Add the boiled water, vegetable cube, salt and pepper.
Cool the mixture for around 20-25 minutes until carrots are soft. Blend this until smooth and no lumps.
Return back on the heat and add in orange juice, Tabasco and adjust seasoning. Lastly add in your cream and garnish with coriander. Serve with toasted bread.
