Aura – Organic Skin & Body Care Products
Aura is a skincare line that was founded in 2019 by two sisters; Bhavni and Nishma. Their line produces organic, hand-crafted skincare products that use locally sourced ingredients. Aura was formed because Nishma suffers from eczema. Over the years, as these two sisters tried to find products that would alleviate her symptoms, they learnt about the ingredients in regular products—many of which are harmful! Horrified by this, they set out to create their own custom creams out of clean, safe and nourishing ingredients which have made a big difference on Nishma’s skin. Aura currently makes face-creams, body butter, baby-products and lip butter.

A substance called paraben is used in conventionally produced beauty products as a preservative to extend their shelf life. It is synthetic and mimics our body’s natural hormones and can alter the functions of the endocrine system. Organic products use natural preservatives that do not alter the functioning of your body.
THEY ARE LIKE SECOND SKIN
Did you know that we absorb up to 60 percent of what we put on our skin? Chemicals, present in beauty products, quickly enter our bloodstream.
Organic beauty products which contain ingredients like sweet almond oil, avocado oil, rice bran oil, grape seed oil and essential oils help to prevent many of these harmful chemicals from entering the body.
