Verity (2026)

Verity is a seductive, slow-burn psychological erotic thriller directed by Michael Showalter—adapted from Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel—that follows Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who receives the opportunity of a lifetime when she is hired to complete the remaining books of a highly successful series left unfinished by renowned author Verity Crawford after a devastating car accident. Moving into the family’s remote and secluded mansion to review the notes, Lowen discovers a hidden, unpublished autobiographical manuscript filled with chilling confessions and horrific family secrets regarding the tragic deaths of Verity’s daughters. As she resides in the claustrophobic house alongside the silent, incapacitated author upstairs, Lowen becomes deeply infatuated with Verity’s husband, Jeremy, causing reality to violently blur with paranoia as she struggles to distinguish truth from manipulation, and attraction from obsession. This tense, atmospheric adaptation stars Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, Anne Hathaway as Verity Crawford, and Josh Hartnett as Jeremy Crawford, with supporting performances from Ismael Cruz Córdova as Corey and Brady Wagner as Crew Crawford.

 

Heart of the Beast (2026)

Heart of the Beast is an intense man-versus-nature survival thriller directed by David Ayer that follows James Belmont, a retired Special Forces veteran struggling with severe PTSD who seeks isolation in the rugged Alaskan outback. When his seaplane crashes after he suffers a heart attack, James is left badly injured and stranded deep in the freezing wilderness. To survive a grueling 58-mile trek back to civilization, he must rely on his elite military training and the unbreakable loyalty of his equally traumatized combat German Shepherd, Odin, as they endure extreme weather, treacherous terrain, and predatory wildlife. Filmed against the backdrop of New Zealand glaciers, this gritty yet contemplative drama stars Brad Pitt as James, alongside a rescue canine named Uber as Odin, with supporting performances from J.K. Simmons as a gritty local prospector named Watkins and Anna Lambe as Amber.

 

Digger (2026)

Digger is a bombastic absurdist dark comedy and political satire directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu that follows Digger Rockwell, an obscenely powerful and unhinged Southern oil tycoon who triggers a catastrophic global ecological disaster after an extraction project in Greenland causes a massive fissure in the earth. Rather than taking accountability, Rockwell manipulates the U.S. President into putting him in charge of resolving the crisis, launching a frantic, ego-driven media campaign to convince the panicked world that he is their ultimate savior while privately fighting to maintain corporate control. The star-studded ensemble cast features a physically transformed Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell, Riz Ahmed as his government science advisor Ganesh, John Goodman as President Compson, and Sandra Hüller as Digger’s half-sister Emma, alongside high-profile supporting turns from Jesse Plemons, Michael Stuhlbarg, Emma D’Arcy, and Sophie Wilde.

 

Avengers: Endgame Encore (2026)

Avengers: Endgame Encore is an extended theatrical re-release of the record-breaking Marvel blockbuster that features the original core ensemble narrative—where surviving heroes launch a desperate “time heist” to retrieve the Infinity Stones and reverse Thanos’ universe-altering snap—augmented by four minutes of crucial new post-credits footage bridging into the wider multiverse saga. Homer’s The Odyssey follows the Greek hero Odysseus, who spends ten grueling years trying to return to his kingdom of Ithaca following the Trojan War. Along the way, he battles mythical monsters and the god Poseidon, while at home, his wife Penelope and son Telemachus fight off arrogant suitors attempting to usurp his throne.

 

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)

Spider-Man: Brand New Day: Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker in this Marvel Studios blockbuster. Operating anonymously in New York City after the events of No Way Home, Peter faces intense pressure that triggers an unexpected evolution in his powers while investigating an elusive new threat. The cast also includes Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo.

 

Forgotten Island (2026)

Forgotten Island is a vibrant, coming-of-age fantasy adventure from DreamWorks Animation that follows two lifelong best friends, Jo and Raissa, who are accidentally transported through a mysterious portal to Nakali—a mystical, trippy island populated by creatures from Filipino mythology—on their very last night together before parting ways for college. As they attempt to navigate this strange realm filled with shapeshifting folklore entities, they discover a devastating catch: the island slowly feeds on human memories, and the ultimate price to escape back home is the total erasure of every memory they have ever shared. The film’s star-studded, predominantly Filipino voice ensemble cast features H.E.R. as Jo and Liza Soberano as Raissa, alongside Dave Franco as a hapless weredog named Raww, Lea Salonga as the terrifyingly iconic Dreaded Manananggal, and supporting roles voiced by Manny Jacinto, Jenny Slate, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng.
