Mortal Kombat II (2026), directed by Simon McQuoid, is a direct sequel to the 2021 film that focuses on the titular tournament to determine the fate of Earthrealm. Earth’s champions, including Liu Kang and a newly introduced, washed-up action star Johnny Cage (Karl Urban), must fight against Shao Kahn’s warriors to stop his conquest.

The Sheep Detectives (2026)

The Sheep Detectives is a delightfully quirky cozy-mystery film that masterfully blends the heartwarming charm of Babe with the sharp, witty intrigue of Knives Out. Directed by Kyle Balda and adapted from Leonie Swann’s bestselling novel Three Bags Full, this live-action/CGI hybrid follows a flock of highly intelligent sheep who secretly investigate the murder of their beloved shepherd. Led by the sharp-witted Miss Maple and utilizing detective tropes learned from their shepherd’s nightly storytime, the herd outsmarts a bumbling local police force to crack the case. It is a hilarious, poignant, and beautifully animated celebration of loyalty that proves justice can be found in the most unexpected pastures.

 

Dhabkaaro (Gujarati) (2026)

Dhabkaaro is a powerful Gujarati redemption drama directed by Abhishek Shah that follows the profound transformation of Ashok Patel, a ruthless multi-billionaire businessman. After being double-crossed, drugged, and left destitute in the rural Gujarat countryside, Ashok is rescued by a skeptical but kind-hearted taxi driver named Kano Kathiawadi. Stripped of his untold wealth, Ashok embarks on an emotional journey to his destination, using the road trip to recount his history of greed, betrayal, and the cruel treatment of his family. Elevated by a stellar, career-best performance from veteran actor Deven Bhojani alongside Aarjav Trivedi, the film delivers a moving and mature exploration of relationships, timely forgiveness, and human empathy.

 

Krishnavatar Part I: Hridayam (2026)

Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam) is a grand, 2026 Indian devotional drama film directed by Hardik Gajjar. Framed around a modern narration by Jackie Shroff, the live-action story begins during Lord Krishna’s final moments on Earth. The plot serves as an emotional journey tracking the deity from his painful separation from Radha to his subsequent reign, covering his marriages to Rukmini, Satyabhama, and Jambavati. Rather than focusing on massive wars, this first chapter explores the deep emotional and philosophical dualities of Krishna’s life, handling sensitive themes like ancient patriarchal norms through his rescue of 16,000 captive princesses. Anchored by painterly cinematography from Ayananka Bose and a rich musical score, the cinematic experience balances spiritual devotion with a humanizing look at divine duty and love.

Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D) is an immersive 2026 concert film. It is co-directed by pop superstar Billie Eilish and visionary filmmaker James Cameron. Released globally in theaters by Paramount Pictures, the movie captures Eilish’s high-energy arena performances. The footage was recorded over four nights in Manchester, England, during her massive 2025 world tour.
