3 Stretches That Help Alleviate Back Pain:

Stretch 1- The Piriformis Or Deep Glute Stretch:

Lie flat on your back, bending both knees, with feet flat on the floor. Now cross one leg over the other where your ankle rests on the knee. With your hands gently pull the knee towards your chest until the stretch is felt in your buttocks. (Alternate with the other knee)

 

Stretch 2- The Kneeling Lunge Stretch:

Stand on your knees then move one leg forward with foot flat on the floor. Place your hands on top of the thigh making sure your weight is evenly distributed. Then lean forward so you feel stretch in front of the other hip. (Alternate this with the other leg)

 

Stretch 3- The Knee To Chest Stretch:

Lie flat on your back, placing hands around one knee to pull it towards your chest until you feel the stretch in your buttocks. (Alternate with the other knee)
