Stay
Heaven Boutique Hotel is our popular 22 room 4 Star hotel with rooms located on 3 separate properties along the same road. Heaven Boutique Hotel rooms all have similar amenities (TV, mini fridge, coffee/tea/purified water, free Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning in all rooms except the Villa Queen Economy Room) and all rooms are located on KN 29 Street, the same street as Heaven Restaurant. Villa Queen Rooms
The Villa is 2 doors downhill from Heaven Restaurant in a contemporary “villa” style house – these rooms all have private terraces. Queen Rooms are our smallest, coziest and most economical rooms for travelers on a budget. We have 8 Queen Rooms.
Villa Deluxe King Rooms
The Villa is 2 doors downhill from Heaven Restaurant in a contemporary “villa” style house – these rooms all have private terraces. The King rooms are quite spacious. We have 4 Villa Deluxe King Rooms.
Onsite Deluxe King Room
Onsite rooms are steps from Heaven Restaurant and are newly renovated and in addition to the amenities listed above, these rooms have A/C units as well as modern, wooden ceiling fans. A total of 2 rooms.
Onsite Family Deluxe King Rooms
Onsite rooms are steps from Heaven Restaurant and are newly renovated and in addition to the amenities listed above, these rooms have A/C units as well as modern, wooden ceiling fans. We have two onsite rooms Family deluxe King rooms ” with King + Queen ideal for families or traveling colleagues and steps from our onsite playground.
Garden Chalet King Rooms
The Garden Chalet is our newest property 2 doors uphill from Heaven Restaurant with salt water solar powered swimming pool and onsite open-air gym. These are our most recent rooms with all new tiling, bathroom fixtures, furniture, ceiling fans, and peaceful gardens. We have 5 garden chalet king rooms.

Fusion Restaurant
For ten years, the founders of Kigali’s top restaurant, Heaven, have dreamed of opening a fine dining restaurant which merges culinary traditions from around the world with Rwandan ingredients. Fusion – the new restaurant at The Retreat – takes culinary traditions from Italy, Mauritius, Morocco and elsewhere and blends them into a single harmonious offer. Perched beside The Retreat’s glorious saltwater pool, rock gardens and native plantings, Fusion is the most elegant spot in Kigali to explore new flavours and experience first-class hospitality.
Culinary
Heaven Restaurant is known for our International cuisine with local Rwandan & African flavors. We work closely with local farmers, focus on quality ingredients and cultivate an onsite organic garden where we hand pick fresh herbs and lettuce daily. We have recruited Executive Chefs from around the world since our opening to invest in training our Rwandan cooks and take great pride in the quality of our food and the innovative menu we have created. From our cocktails to our guacamole to our mango panna cotta, every client enjoys the variety, freshness and creativity of our recipes. Heaven has been the top rated restaurant in Rwanda for years due to our ambiance, extraordinary food, expansive views of Kigali from our outdoor terrace, and warm, attentive service.
We have a breakfast menu, all day dining menu and rotating specials. Weekend brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm. We have regular cultural events on weekends to provide entertainment and fun for our guests.

Explore the flavors of Rwanda in Heaven’s organic garden, visit local farmers’ markets, and cook up new recipes in our Rwandan kitchen! Engage in volunteer work or immerse yourself in the culture of Rwanda by taking a day trip to the village, learning basket weaving, drumming or how to prepare the “urwagwa” local banana beer.
Let our concierge plan a journey outside of Kigali to Akagera safari park, the Virunga mountains for gorilla trekking, Nyungwe Forest for chimpanzees and canopy walk or a peaceful stay on Lake Kivu.
Featuring water sports facilities, outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and free WiFi, The Retreat is set in Kigali, 1.9 km from Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial and 6 km from Kigali Centenary Park. The property is around 7 km from MTN Centre Kigali and 1.3 km from Kigali City Tower. The hotel has a hot tub, children’s playground and terrace, and guests can grab a bite to eat in the restaurant.
The units has air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, a kettle, a hot tub and a desk. Every room comes with a private bathroom, and selected rooms have a balcony. At the hotel rooms are fitted with a seating area.
A continental breakfast is served each morning at the property.
Guests can make use of the sauna. Guests can take part in various activities in the surroundings, including cycling and hiking.
