The Mould, That’s You! – Positive Reflection Of The Week
The Mould, That’s You! An Article By Shahwana
It’s a happy moment when we find out that we are going to have a baby. Then comes the 9 months of carrying that baby. As a woman we face many challenges, food, acidity, and many sleepless nights. The big day arrives, and we face labour pain and for some hours of pain, once that’s over the bundle of joy is placed in our arms, and we forget all the 9 months’ discomforts, and we embrace what we see as love in our arms.
Now the upbringing is where most challenges are faced as a parent, and we see this beautiful joy becoming more aware of its emotions and challenges we face. Once they are in their teens, there’s plenty of drama.
But can we change this, perhaps not the past, however those wanting to get babies and for those needing more, please let’s do something different.
First, whatever you go through, your child is being affected by this, even at the early stages when just being conceived. Your emotional state is what impacts them; what are we watching on TV, and what we read, and see how we react. The child in you becomes what you feed it with. In pregnancy send feelings of peace and love, watch wholesome shows – read books which are educational, eat right. That’s where the mould is produced. Your child’s future is you.
Worrying affects your child, so what can we do?
In pregnancy, apart from books/TV shows/ be positive and breathe, take walks in nature give that unborn the feeling of hope and security, & give yourself the same treatment. Do simple mindful meditation. Create the future you want in your mind.
Be healthy, be happy.
Control the emotions, what comes out of thoughts and mouth make it wholesome. While learning to control the tongue, we also learn proper discrimination, right judgement, loving kindness, self-control and thus Self-Mastery.
We all have an inner child, which calls for help from the trauma of its past, where did it start… let’s not give that to the future generations.
