SALMON ROULADE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1kg sliced smoked salmon
920 grams cream cheese with chives
3 heaped tsp of horseradish (optional)
Juice of 2 lemons
Handful diced chives
Salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
STEP 1
Roll out a long sheet of cling film, layer on the smoked salmon so that they overlap.
STEP 2
In a bowl mix the chopped chives, horseradish and cream cheese. Then add in the salt and lemon juice.
STEP 3
With a spoon, spread the mixture thinly over the salmon.
STEP 4
Using the cling film push the salmon away from you carefully. Then pull back the cling film so it doesn’t get rolled up with the salmon, carry on rolling all the way.
STEP 5
Roll up the cling film making sure it’s sealed & place in the freezer for 3-4hours so it sets.
STEP 6
After it is set, slice into the desired size & serve.
