2 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp salt (salt to taste)
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp mango powder

STEP 1
Mix all the ingredients above in a bowl and make a dough!
INGREDIENTS FOR THE FILLING
150gms mince (beef)
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp salt
½ tsp mango powder
1 cup of water
Oil to fry the patties
1 egg beaten
METHOD
STEP 1
In a non-stick pot take 1 tbsp oil & saute the garam masala, ginger & garlic paste, salt & mango powder. Now add the mince & saute for 1-2 minutes.
STEP 2
Add water to the mince & bring it to boil then cover it with a lid & let it cook on very low flame. Remove the lid after 5-6 minutes & check if mince is almost done. If almost done take off the lid and let the water evaporate till the mince is completely dry, then take it off the heat & let it cool. (Note: No water should remain or else the patties will become soggy!)
STEP 3
To assemble the patties, divide the dough into 6 balls. Then take each ball & press gently with your palm, then put about 1-1½ tbsp mince filling in the centre & seal it with the potato covering from all sides.
STEP 4
Dip each patty in the beaten egg. In a non-stick pan, heat the oil & shallow fry the patties on medium flame until golden brown!
Serve hot with ketchup!
