MOIST MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
MOIST MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE RECIPE
Makes 3 -4 Portions
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup (130g) Flour
8 Tbsp (120g) Sugar
8 Tbsp (45g) Cocoa powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp of Salt
1 Cup (250ml) Milk
8 Tbsp Cooking oil
METHOD
STEP 1
Start by sifting the flour into a clean bowl, to remove any small lumps. Sift in the cocoa as well.
STEP 2
Add the baking powder, salt and sugar to the dry ingredients and mix in.
STEP 3
Once the dry ingredients are mixed well, add the milk and oil and mix all the ingredients until no flour is showing.
STEP 4
Scoop the cake mix into the microwave-safe cups & let the mixture reach half the cup.
STEP 5
For An Extra Flavour: add 1 tablespoon of Nutella or peanut butter. (this step is optional)
STEP 6
For two cups, microwave for 2 minutes and 20 seconds (about 1 minute 10 seconds for 1 cup).
STEP 7
You know they are cooked when the top is dry and crusty. You can poke with a fork and if it comes out clean then it is ready.
STEP 8
Let it cool for a few minutes and enjoy it plain or with some ice-cream!
