JACK DANIEL’S CHICKEN
JACK DANIEL’S CHICKEN RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
12 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper (to taste)
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup of Jack Daniel’s Whiskey
2 onions
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1/2 cup water
2 cup heavy cream
4 teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoon water
METHOD
STEP 1
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
STEP 2
Put butter and oil in a large pan then add chicken and cook till brown.
STEP 3
Now pour in the Jack Daniel’s and ignite whilst shaking the pan until the flames go out.
STEP 4
Add the onions and cook for 1 minute.
STEP 5
Add the thyme, parsley, and 1/4 cup water then cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Transfer chicken to a plate and add the cream to the same pan.
STEP 6
Mix the cornstarch and the water together in a small bowl then add this to the sauce. Simmer sauce until thickened. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
STEP 7
Return chicken to the pan, mix and remove from heat.
Serve with fries, veggies or mash!
