6 Tips To Keep Your Closet Smelling Fresh, Organised & Uncluttered- By H&S
Looking for your favourite outfit but unable to find it in your closet? Ever wondered you have so many clothes yet you can’t find anything to wear? If that’s the case it is about time to do some serious spring-cleaning & get your wardrobe organised!! Below are 6 tips for every man and woman who desires to be organised and have an uncluttered, scented wardrobe!
1. Categorise & hang similars together- Hang clothes in categories & subcategories for e.g. all pants together & for shirts hang all long sleeves together, short sleeves together etc. This way you will easily be able to find what you are looking for!
2. Use dividers in Drawers- Drawers can get very messy, so the best way to keep them organised is to invest in some dividers. This way, for example, men can keep their vests separate from their underwears, while women can keep their bras separate from their panties!
3. Clean Out!- If you haven’t worn that shirt in 12 months the chances of you ever wearing it again are slim, so discard it. This way you can make more room in your cupboard and can see your clothes better!
4. Hang those belts, ties & scarves!- Put up some extra hooks inside your cupboard e.g. on the inside of the door and hang your belts, ties or scarves. This way you can easily pick what you want to wear without having to look for it inside a drawer or amongst the clothes!
5. Eliminate odour- Invest in wardrobe air-fresheners that you can hang between clothes so that they smell fresh at all times! Just make sure you keep replacing them as they wear out!
6. Get yourself organised- Men once you have worn your suit and ladies once you have worn that top, make sure you either hang it and return it to its place in the cupboard or put it away for laundry. Don’t just stack them away in some corner for later. This way your wardrobe will be organised at all times!
