MUNDUI HOUSE
Mundui House is situated on the shore of Lake Oloiden within the ARR private wildlife conservancy, nestled in the volcanic hills and open grasslands on the western edge of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. Only 2 hours drive from Nairobi, Mundui House is the perfect romantic escape or weekend getaway for couples, families and friends. The lawns, which slope down to the lake shore, are a favourite hangout and grazing spot for warthog, antelope, zebra, giraffe , hippo, buffalo and many species of birds.
One of the oldest houses around the lake, Mundui House has an interesting history and visitors such as Ernest Hemingway and Winston Churchill have stayed on the historic property.
The spacious house and its position on the ARR Conservancy make it the perfect venue for a relaxing few days, day trip, wedding or other event. The Lake Naivasha area is a UNESCO natural heritage site for the prolific birdlife of over 400 different species.
ARR’s aims,include the protection, preservation and support of the environment, biodiversity, endangered species, and all related research.
ARR wants to make conservation information freely available to all in order to create a healthy, thriving environment and community.

Tribe 44 pays tribute to Kenyans of Asian origin who now constitute the 44th tribe in the country, following a formal recognition by President Uhuru Kenyatta in a Gazette Notice No. 7245 published on Friday, July 21, 2017.
Tribe 44 offers a delightful fusion of Kenyan, Swahili and Indian cuisine unique to the region. Our menu brings a modern twist to the traditional fare designed for the individual either on the go or to sit back, relax and just “savor the moment”.
Building upon the traditions of original Indian Cafes in Kenya, Maru Café, Supreme, Ismalia and Blue Room; Tribe 44 aspires to fuse the rich heritage of Kenyan, Swahili and Indian cultures and cuisine.
From the Indian subcontinent, samosas, bhajias and chappatis are now an integral part of Kenyan cuisine, along with fusions such as “One-One”, a combination of the Indian samosa and the Swahili mandazi.
