Declutter Your Mind – Positive Reflection Of The Week
Declutter The Mind, Clear The Thoughts & Be Productive – By Shahwana Khanam
How many of us have tried to clear the nagging thoughts and feeling which keep disturbing us during the day? Especially, when you really want to be still and want that peaceful moment and there goes the monkey brain at work?
Meditation is one of the effective ways to purify the aura from the clouds of negative thoughts and emotions. For me, one of the easiest, yet most effective meditation techniques for purification, peace and illumination is the “Meditation on Twin Hearts.” Practised in the school of Pranic Healing and open to the public. This meditation works on the Heart and Crown chakras and purifies the system by bringing down lots of Divine energy to flush out negative thoughts and emotions from our system. The result is the stillness of the mind, the calmness of emotions and developed intuition; it’s an amazing tool to declutter those unwanted thoughts…
The heart is known as the “Center for Human Love” while the Crown is known as the “Center for Universal Love.” These two chakras are connected!
With intuition comes clarity. The mind can also be trained to focus on the current moment, for example, train your mind 15 minutes to focus on the task at hand with full attention & if it starts wavering bring it back to the task, this is also called Mindfulness.
Start becoming the boss of your brain and thoughts, do not let it waver, this training is practised by several Marital arts and spiritual practitioners from different Spiritual schools.
Nothing creates as much brain clutter as an endless to-do list. Accept that ‘you can’t’ do it all and choose to focus on the things which are most important to you. Make a shortlist of your top priorities, and make sure that the bulk of your brain space is devoted to the things on that list.
Some train their mind to focus on the breath, the inhalation, the gap and the exhalation and the gap. They practice these Yogic breathings techniques, for a few minutes in several intervals per day. Choose the breathing technique which resonates the best with you.
