Create Time! – Positive Reflection Of The Week
Create Time Starting Today! – An Article by Shahwana
Indeed, we often believe that we don’t have enough time. But there’s a difference between truth and belief. We believe our stories and excuses, telling them to ourselves so often that it becomes the partial truth. We no longer question our excuses; we want to seem busy, we want to look busy. Sometimes we forget to set priorities, and what’s important.
It’s funny how, for example, if we fall in love, we suddenly find lots of time to be with someone (new love):
• We watch less TV
• We are less involved in social media activities
• We spend less time on chores
• We make time for that special date
• We make sure we dress up
There’s always time for that special someone.
Something that can impact your body, mind, and soul, are the items sometimes put off the list, for example, a 10-minute meditation, a quick yoga session, or a deep breathing session early morning, that will create your day in much-balanced energy. Did we put off such, why? Because we are always running late, and time seems to hurry up. We are distracted with much on our hands, and no planning results to not much done either. We always say I will come back to this later, that later turns to days by the time you visit that list of ‘ to do’. A typical example is when a phone call comes, you can leave the task on hand to attend to, and spend at times ten minutes chatting? So you find time, likewise find time for that important task that’s important for you, visit your parents once a week, have dinners with them, spend quality time with your loved ones, no phones no other distractions during that quality time.
Find that ‘me’ time daily, for at least 20 minutes for the betterment of yourself. Walk, Meditation, and do yoga breathing. Because you can. It is all about scheduling. No excuses, remember to discipline yourself.
We also have heard the ‘phase’ Time is money.
Inspiration can give us the idea. And motivation can get us started. But it is routine and habit that create the change. Commit yourself, starting today, try to spend a few minutes learning mindfulness, or be aware of the important details of life. Pause now, make that schedule, and pen out what’s important.

How much time will you create for each important aspect of your life, start with baby steps and build up! Whatever you spot as important, allow yourself to go forward and spend that time doing the activity you choose, every day congratulate yourself on the achievements. It is okay to take it slow as you build up to your time schedules.
Get in touch with your breath, spend some time focusing on the breath, and listen to that heartbeat.
