Alex & Sierra, the dynamic pop duo, rose to fame as the winners of the third and final season of The X Factor in the US. Known for their powerful on-stage chemistry and soulful covers, the duo enjoyed moderate chart success before announcing their split in 2017.
Alex began his musical journey in middle school, learning guitar, while Sierra pursued dance from the age of two, training in hip-hop, jazz, and ballet. Their rendition of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” at their X Factor audition captivated the judges, propelling them into the spotlight.
Throughout the competition, Alex & Sierra consistently garnered the most public votes, ultimately winning the season. They released their debut single, “Scarecrow,” in 2014, which featured on their debut album, It’s About Us, reaching the Billboard 200. In 2017, the pair announced both the end of their musical duo and their romantic relationship, bringing their collaboration to a close.
