How To Pick The Right Apartment For YOU

Looking for an apartment can be a tedious task! Some apartments have a price too good to be true, so before you fall in a trap, make sure you know what you want! We have compiled a checklist for you, to help you pick the right apartment!

1. Check The Location- It’s always good to know where you want to be living, but some places aren’t safe or may be close to the main road attracting a lot of noise. Make sure you know where you are going to be living and do an area search to make sure it is safe & close to malls etc.
2. What Do You Want- We all have an idea of what an ideal apartment should have. Before you jump the gun to buy an apartment make sure it is everything you want. For e.g. do you want to be in a high rise building with a beautiful skyline or are you looking for a garden style apartment building. What facilities do you want your building to have for e.g. gym, ample parking space etc. It’s always good to know this in advance before making the big decision.
3. Plan A Budget- Whilst on an apartment hunt, it is important you know approximately what you can afford or how much you want to invest! After all buying an apartment isn’t like buying clothes!
4. Scan The Market- It is also important to know your return in investment. Hence do a research on the rental market to find out what how much rent you can get on your investment if you ever decide to put it on rent.
5. Compare Apartments- Whilst on an apartment hunt, it’s always a good idea to look around a few before you settle for one. This gives you an idea to gauge and compare, just in case you may find something more attractive in one apartment that you might not find in another.
