Nairobi National Park: Total Ground Wildlife Census The Nairobi National Park (NNP) total ground wildlife census took place on 12th December, 2021. The Wildlife Research and Training Institute, Friends of Nairobi National Park (FONNAP) and Kenya Wildlife Service along with participants participated in making this census a success. The goal of this census was to establish the spatial distribution of various key wildlife species and their population trends over the last decade & to establish how the wildlife is faring in the face of expanding anthropogenic developments in Nairobi city and its metropolis.
